I wasn’t thrilled with either, but its time to put on the big boy (or big girl) pants and keep moving forward. The world is not gonna end and to all those that feel threatened by the new administration know that myself and the majority of the country has your back.
but buckle up cause things might get bumpy.....and pray this bitch ain’t built with takata airbags

hey 50.1% counts as a majority and contrary to popular belief, not all trump supporters are racists, xenophobes, homophobes, or sexist

Trump may still win popular, there is still 2% unreported in AZ. Either way, incredibly small margin. Also, not all Republicans are awful; the one thing that has driven me nuts about this whole thing is the jump that just because a voter opposes certain topics they are “X”phobes.

You’re 100% right.
My point merely stems from the fact that I have a plenty Muslim, gay, and Mexican friends that are afraid. Trump said some ridiculous things like ban all Muslims or build a wall and deport all illegal immigrants, but I don’t believe the majority of the country is on board with that crap.

Thank you for posting this. As a white guy who despised BOTH candidates, I’ve really been disturbed by the amount of hate being spewed toward practically everyone who didn’t vote for Clinton.
Most (but not all) people I know that voted for Trump did so because they’re sick of “the establishment”, and wanted someone who wasn’t a career politician. I for one thought that was a pretty dumb, considering his so-called “policies”, but none of these people think Islam is a nationality, some of them are people of color, several of them are women, and one of them is openly LGBT. Crazy, right?

yeah same here. A lot of them don’t like Trump, but they view it as a wildcard/anti-establishment vote. Clinton was the embodiment of the establishment and after two terms of a democratic president in gridlock with a Republican Congress people wanted change. I can’t say I blame them, but I just wish it came as someone else besides Trump
